The IKA SnowKite World Cup has been founded to give a competition platform for the world's best snowkiters throughout the season.

Since 2009, IKA has been developing the rules for snowkiting together with WISSA, the World Ice and Snow Sailing Association (www.wissa.org).

International competitions all around the globe have been sanctioned by IKA since 2009, including multiple continental championships.
